Solar Modules

A solar module is made up of a number of solar cells which are electrically connected in a series and which, after application of current connectors, are processed to form a module.
The generally square solar cells are applied to a substrate, covered by a glass plate and laminated to protect them against weather exposure. A frame is often attached for the
purpose of simplifying assembly. Solar modules customary in the markets are generally made from mono- or polycrystalline solar cells or thin-film modules.
