Awareness of other cultures

International employee secondments will become more frequent in the future. As part of the process of internationalisation, Phoenix Solar will be investing on an ongoing basis in HR development. Cross-cultural training is essential for finding one’s bearing in other cultures and learning to act in an open-minded manner in a foreign environment.

Language courses for employees

Language is a key part of interaction with foreign cultures. Knowledge of foreign languages is vital to success on international markets. Extensive language courses are already available for management and employees to ensure Phoenix staff are well equipped to succeed in markets abroad. These language courses are organised by the International Competence Center which was set up in 2010.

Intercultural dialogue

International exhibitions and events promote global exchange between different cultures and foster an intercultural approach. The holding of joint events, such as sales manager conferences or half-yearly “jour fixe” meetings, play an important role here.
