Supervisory Board

Our Supervisory Board carries out the legal obligations of monitoring and controlling the company management. The Supervisory Board also works closely with the Executive Board of Phoenix Solar AG and provides advice on key company decisions.

Oliver Gosemann

Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Member of the Supervisory Board of Phoenix Solar AG since 2010, Supervisory Board Chairman since 2015.

Oliver Gosemann holds a graduate degree in engineering and an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School. Along with top management positions, his many years of management experience at major globally operating companies with highly varied international subsidiaries comprises areas such as business development, sales and finance.
He started his career at Siemens AG where he held managerial positions in several divisions. In the mid-1990s he moved to become managing director at an internationally operating electronics company. In 2001, he was appointed CEO of Knürr AG, which he headed successfully as a listed company, as well as from 2006 after its integration into Emerson Electric. He was responsible again for a large number of international subsidiaries when he headed the Talis Group as CEO and secured its private equity financing.
Oliver Gosemann is Managing Shareholder of GOSFAM Investment GmbH; he holds, and has held, supervisory board mandates at several listed and unlisted companies. He is currently Chairman of Voltea B.V., Sassenheim, Netherlands.

Prof. Dr. Thomas Zinser

Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Member of the Supervisory Board of Phoenix Solar AG since 2005.

Subsequent to his studies at the Universities of Stuttgart (BA in Business Administration) and Nuremberg (Diploma in Business Administration) during which he already specialized in tax, including gaining practical experience, Thomas Zinser received a doctorate with a dissertation on group taxation schemes in Spain and Germany.
After having been employed as an academic staff member at Erlangen-Nuremberg University he was active with a tax and audit firm with international reach before joining Ebner Stolz Mönning Bachem in Munich, where he was made partner in 2002.

Thomas Zinser has also been Professor for Tax and General Business Administration at Landshut University since 2003. He does not hold any further mandates on statutory supervisory boards.

Hans-Gerd Füchtenkort

Member of the Supervisory Board of Phoenix Solar AG since 2015.

Hans-Gerd Füchtenkort has many years of experience on management and supervisory boards, mainly in the branded goods and solar industries.
He completed his studies of business administration with a graduate degree. Starting from his focus on marketing and finance, he subsequently held various management positions at Procter & Gamble, Klaus J. Jacobs Holding and Mars Inc., most recently as Executive Board member at Mars Snack Food Europe. For market research company AC Nielsen Inc. he was Executive Board member and President Europe, Middle East, Africa & India.
Recent positions include Executive Board member at Grohe AG where he headed global sales and all subsidiaries. For Q-Cells SE, he was also Chief Sales and Marketing Officer with direct responsibility for global sales, marketing, product management and all sales companies worldwide until 2011.
Hans-Gerd Füchtenkort held supervisory board mandates at several listed and unlisted companies.
