Phoenix Solar recertified: company fulfils highest quality standards

Sulzemoos, 20 December 2012 / Phoenix Solar AG (ISIN DE000A0BVU93), a leading international photovoltaic system integrator listed in Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, has had its quality and environmental management (DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 and DIN EN ISO 14001:2004) recertified by IT-Zert, an independent company specialised in auditing and certifying management systems. As early as 2009, the power plant construction department at the company's Ulm branch was certified in these two areas. In 2011, the certificate for energy management (DIN EN 16001:2009) was added.

"When the areas of quality, environmental and energy management are combined together, the result is an integrated management system, IMS for short. I was particularly pleased that the auditor emphasised several times how exceptionally satisfied he was with the way our IMS has been structured and implemented", explained Kerstin Reichert who is responsible for quality management at Phoenix Solar.

The awarding of the certificates is affirmation by the accrediting company that customers and the public at large can vest their trust in the company. As part of the application of the standards, which are recognised worldwide, a process of continual improvement, for instance, is introduced into quality and environmental management, and the focus is put on customer satisfaction. Phoenix Solar has integrated and implemented energy efficiency programmes in the area of energy management with the aim of lowering energy consumption by electrical appliances and buildings, the transport system and for making services available or for other purposes.
