Exploiting solar energy
Harnessing solar power to generate electricity actively protects the environment.
All households need energy. Those of us keen on generating this power intelligently, cost effectively and, above all, in an environmentally friendly way will opt for a future with a solar power system. Mounted on the roof of your home, the system will allow you to convert solar energy directly into electricity, which you can use either for your own consumption or feed into the public grid. You will be more independent of your power utility and you will be making an active contribution towards protecting the environment.
The German Renewable Energies Act (EEG) – a successful model

Germany’s Renewable Energies Act (EEG) was created firstly to accelerate the expansion of renewable energies to generate power as a central plank in climate and environmental protection, to ensure their sustainable development and to boost the share of renewable energies, and secondly, to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels. For every kilowatt hour generated by your solar plant and fed into the public grid, the government will give you guaranteed feed-in remuneration which is fixed for a period of 20 years. This means planning security from the very outset. What is more, you can look on comfortably as prices rise: the more expensive conventional sources of energy such as oil, gas and coal become, the greater the savings potential from your photovoltaic system will be.
You can check the current amount of the feed-in tariff on the homepage of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety and of course, find the Phoenix Solar partner closest to you.
