Phoenix Solar grew faster than the photovoltaic industry. As against market growth, which was 20 percent at best, the company succeeded in raising sales by almost 70 percent to more than 200 megawatt peak output. Market share grew accordingly to between three and four percent. At the end of the year, Phoenix Solar was one of the few listed German solar companies which closed the year with a growth in revenues and a profit.
